It’s hard to believe that it’s only been a year since threemanbooth.com launched. When we started, the goal was to take CM Punk’s illustrious words and make Wrestling fun again. The past year taught us that wrestling can only be as fun if you make it fun. There are certainly a lot of things that do that.
- Fandango just started to make wrestling fun for us and for him
- Bully Ray interacting with the iMPACT faithful makes wrestling fun.
- Grandpa Simpson made wrestling fun back in his day.
- Live Wrestling (from PWS to Wrestlemania) makes wrestling fun.
- The Iron Sheik makes everything fun!
We chose 3 posts from the past year that showed off our ThreeManBooth-iness:
KeepItFiveStar: Fantasy GM AJ
Besides the weekly RAW Recap, this meme is one of my favorites on the site. Fantasy GM AJ started in our “I Have Til 5” post about AJ Lee making nerdy matches as General Manager. I loved the post so much that I took it one step further and turned it into a Meme. 31 pictures later, it is still one of our most popular Memes. Call me a delusional fanboy, but I like to think that AJ’s seen at least one of those photos. AJ, if you ever come across any of the things we’ve done about you here at Three Man Booth, I’d like to say: Thanks for the inspiration, and are you free for dinner sometime next week?
LeKeith: Al Bundy Saved Wrestling
Celebrities being involvement in professional wrestling is always talked about … and always hated. But personally, if not for Ed O’Neil aka Al Bundy from Married With Children, I probably would have chosen Perfect Strangers over Saturday Night’s Main Event on that night in 1992. Then this site would be ThreeManStrangers instead, which does not sound like the wings of my dreams.
ThreeManBooth: Cover of HBK’s “Sexy Boy”
Even the best wrestling theme songs are kind of bad, on the grand spectrum of music. You’ll never mistake something like Zack Ryder’s “Oh, Radio” for a long lost Beatles track. When someone musically talented like John Clinebell takes Shawn Michaels’ “Sexy Boy” and makes it sound like a rendition you would hear from a contestant on The Voice, that should be celebrated.
But we found that we have the most fun when tweeting about wrestling (be it Pay Per Views, iMPACT and especially Monday Night RAW) with everyone. And for that, Thank You. Please have a digital piece of cake with us although cake and wrestling usually don’t go well together.

Earlier this week, the WWE announced that they’re teaming up with CharityBuzz to hold special auctions for a Hurricane Sandy relief fund. Fans get the opportunity to bid on many auctions including, but not limited to, A Personal Tout from X-Pac, Attending San Diego Comic Con with AJ Lee, or letting friendly WWE Superstars like Kane, Randy Orton or The Shield be your personal backstage tour guide at a WWE Live Event! If your bank account looks more like The Million Dollar Man’s than El Locale’s, then the auctions are definitely worth it. However, one auction stood out from the rest.
No, it’s not the NASCAR Race with John Cena. WWE is finally working THE ICON! STING!
….Wait a minute. I think that’s the wrong Sting. Can I get a second opinion on this?So wait…WWE finally gets Sting and it’s the FUCKING SINGER?!
— Langdon Alger (@KeepItFiveStar) March 26, 2013
Okay. That is DEFINITELY the wrong Sting.
Yes. We know. Sting is with TNAand won’t be having that Wrestlemania Dream Match with The Undertaker anytime soon, but what a tease for wrestling fans! WWE finally announces Sting and it’s the singer! C’mon man. How awesome would this have looked?
Seriously! Look at it again. And for “smarter fans” who don’t think that the wrestler Sting would be caught dead holding a bass guitar? You thought wrong! But unfortunately due to contractual obligations, WWE can only get Sting the singer. Oh, well. Maybe next year, we’ll finally get the Sting that wrestling fans know in a WWE Ring. Until then, you can check out Sting trading his bass guitar for a baseball bat, every Thursday Night on TNA’s iMPACT Wrestling on SpikeTV!
In 3 Count, Three Man Booth will Discuss Wrestling & Wrestling Related Music: The Good, The Bad & The Cheesy
The Road to Wrestlemania always overlaps with another popular sporting event: NCAA March Madness (not to be confused with Macho Madness). Our basketball knowledge is limited to the few times when the two sports overlapped: Dennis Rodman wrestling Karl Malone, Shaq as a Hulkamaniac, Shaq and the Big Show having a Staredown on RAW, Sugar Dunkerton … but the biggest thing about March Madness always seems to be the strategy used in filling out the 64 Team Bracket. So, we tried to come up with a way to bring this to Wrestling.
Last month we contacted our regional chapter of ThreeManBoothers to get volunteers for the inaugural 3MB Theme Madness Tournament.
